Few German towns are as close to Enschede as Gronau: the two town centres are about 9 km apart, roughly 15 minutes by car. TheQuickSport started in Enschede, and that is where the nearest games are, mostly volleyball at the University of Twente and in the city's sports halls. There are no TheQuickSport games in Gronau itself yet.
You don't need a car to get there. The RB 64 (Euregio-Bahn) and the RB 51 (Westmünsterland-Bahn) both run from Gronau to Enschede, together about twice an hour, and take around 20 minutes. Sign up for a game in the app, pay your share online, and once you've booked you'll see the address and a map.
Would you rather play in Gronau? Then start the first game yourself. With an account you can create a free starter game: pick the sport, the place and the time, allow up to 24 players, and it goes live straight away. Share the link in your WhatsApp group, with friends or with colleagues. In summer, one option is the beach volleyball court at the Dreiländersee, a swimming lake with free entry a few hundred metres from the Dutch border.
An indoor game needs hall time. On application, the town of Gronau also lets its sports halls to groups that aren't sports clubs. Under its fee schedule, private groups pay €40 per 45-minute session for a single hall, just over €3 each if twelve of you play. If you want to run games like that regularly and charge a fee, apply for the organiser platform: no commission on the game fee, players pay upfront online, and waiting lists, reminders and payouts are handled for you.
